We accept a maximum of 8 guests so we can give you the individual attention you deserve. You will feel a part of A Home Away, rather than as a patient or client in an institution.

Length of stays are flexible. The minimum retreat is 42 days with the optimal duration being 91 days. Extended retreats of up to six months are available.
We welcome international guests. A Home Away Retreat has accepted guests from all across Canada, the United States, and South America.

What You Will Receive
You will receive the very best, exclusive, luxury addiction recovery program in North America. Near Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), we are an intimate, private resort, accepting no more than eight (8) guests at a time. You will be treated with dignity and respect, and have your own private bedroom. Being small allows for the individual attention you deserve. You will not slip through the cracks here! You will have counsellors who are outstanding, and the most comprehensive retreat program possible. We will get to know you as our guest intimately, and will help you achieve your goals. This is not a mental health institution that conducts psycho social rehabilitation or psychotherapy. As a part of your retreat, we offer counselling that supports you achieve your goals in your life. Your dynamic full-life program will include individual and small group sharing sessions, life coaching, spiritual exploration, music, artistic expression, yoga, meditation, and sauna.

Fees
The 42 day retreat: $18,525
(prorated in weekly increments up to 91 days)
All retreats are all-inclusive with your own private bedroom, chef-prepared meals, individual attention and counselling sessions, group sessions, a full complement of holistic approaches (yoga, music, art, massage, sauna, nature exploration, exercise etc.) and resource materials*.
Deluxe Accommodation Retreats: All of the above, plus upgrade your stay to premium accommodation of a large master bedroom with ensuite, jacuzzi tub, large walk in closet, beautiful hardwood, and expansive balcony overlooking the most beautiful scenery in the world: $24,840
Extended stays: Programs of up to six months in duration are available, individualized according to your need. The costs are pro-rated based upon the length of your stay.
Detox: A Home Away does not provide detox or other such care. However, there are local medical detox beds at a nearby healthcare institution. If you require detox (consult your doctor), we will assist you to arrange your stay there for as long as necessary.

Credit Policy
A Home Away Retreat Inc offers the assurance of full value for your investment. As is common practice in related fields, paid fees are non-refundable. Payment is your commitment to your program of recovery, and to A Home Away Retreat. There are 'no refunds on recovery'. It's an all or nothing concept. However, unlike most treatment centers, at A Home Away, should a guest not complete the program, for any reason, we issue the guest a credit. The credit is for the unused portion of the payment, which can then be applied for the guest to a new, full program, for a fresh start at any time in the future*. This is our commitment, and guarantee to you.
* Paid fees are non-refundable. Should a guest not fully complete the program, for any reason, a non-transferable credit for the unused portion of the payment may be applied to a new program of 42 days, or longer, for that guest, subject to room availability and meeting eligibility criteria.
Confirming your Retreat Program
An initial deposit on your retreat program can be made online. Full payment is required to confirm your booking and to hold a room for you. This is your commitment to A Home Away and to your recovery, and it is non-refundable (see Credit Policy).
The most expedient way to submit payment is by American Express, wire transfer or direct bank deposit. Please contact us for payment details.
You can fly directly to Kelowna International Airport via Seattle, Washington, Vancouver, BC, Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, or Toronto, Ontario (two direct flights daily). We are a four hour drive east from Vancouver in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Let us know when your flight arrives and we'll personally greet you at the airport.

Do You Require Financing?
A Home Away is a private retreat, and does not deal directly with insurance companies or other third party payors. However, should you require assistance with financing your program, one option is to apply for financial assistance through Medicard.
